Meetings

CamPUG meetings are on the first Tuesday of each month, and alternate between pub meetings and "talk" meetings.

Pub meetings are at the Carlton Arms, Carlton Way, Cambridge, from 8pm onwards.

Getting to the Carlton Arms from the railway station

• Cycling (if you come with a bike) -- if you need suggestions for a route, please ask.
• Taxi -- I'm afraid I don't know the price, but I'd expect to pay under £10, but over £5 (that seems to be the normal price range for Cambridge)
• Bus -- the Citi 1 goes from the railway station and (eventually) along Carlton Way. It claims to leave (presumably from the main stop on the right as one is walking away from the station) at 1825, 1835, 1845, 1855, 1905, 1925, 1935, 2005 and then half-hourly. It looks like a 20 minute journey. Buses back look like half-hourly until 11ish, if I'm interpreting the time table correctly. A DayRider (they don't do return tickets as such) is £3. A single should be cheaper. That's the option I'd choose. Stagecoach timetables are downloadable from their website.
